Delhi University’s Canteen includes many food options, ranging from full-course meals like Kadi Chawal, Pav Bhaji, Dosa Sambhar, and Rajma Rice to quick and handy meals like Sandwiches, Wraps, Vada Pav, and Rolls. \n\nDU’s Canteen also provides snacks in the form of patties, bhelpuri, samosa, and packed goods like chips, popcorn, and brownies. The canteens also provide Limca, Coca-Cola, Frooti, etc drinks.
\n\nStudents find themselves looking forward to canteen cold coffees & mango shakes in summer and hot coffee whenever they feel the stress in their academic life.\n\nThese canteens are not just places to grab a quick bite but also serve as social hubs where students bond over meals and shared experiences. Within the campus you will notice quite a few people put up their mini canteens where they sell home made food.
For example -
Vayni Aunty in LSR provides the best of South Indian food. Every south Indian girly in LSR agrees to the fact that vayni aunty’s food makes them feel like home.

Street\n Food: A Culinary Paradise\n
\n\n\nBeyond the\n canteens, Delhi University's street food scene is a culinary paradise. Some\n iconic destinations include:
\n\n1) Tom\n Uncle's Maggi Point- Legendary spot for Maggi enthusiasts. This famous and\n well-loved point is located on the north campus. Maggie lovers often find\n themselves at Tom Uncle’s Maggie point, huddled together and enjoying Maggie.
\n\n2) Sudama Ki\n Chai: Serves ginger cardamom tea, and is a hub for all tea lovers to enjoy tea\n in all months. Rainy days are often marked with students sipping up chai near\n the stall.
\n\n3) Dolma\n Aunty Momos: You have probably heard of this shop in different vlogs done by\n food vloggers and influencers on YouTube. This place has been a staple for momo\n lovers since 1994.
\n\n4) Food Bus Of India: Located near the Vishwavidyalaya metro station, this mobile food\n truck serves delicious food and is a popular attraction for students given the\n fun concept of the “food on a ride”

\n\n5) Hudson Café:\n This café is an appropriate place for foodies who are low on budget. The place\n has amazing shakes, pasta, and pizzas. A go-to café for north campus students.
\n\n6) Rico’s: Free\n Wi-fi is one of the main reasons why this café is very popular amongst the\n students. If you want the feel of “working in a café” this is the place to go.
\n\n7) Momo Shop Opposite To LSR back gate: A very well-known stall for Chinese food especially\n Momos, so if you are from LSR you should definitely give it a try.\n\nThese street\n food stalls offer an affordable and flavourful experience, with most dishes\n priced between ₹50-₹300.\n\n

\n\nTaj Café\n Coffee Day:\n\nTaj Café\n Coffee Day unlike most is very spacious, airy, and surrounded by trees. It is\n located near Jesus and Mary College, Maiteryi College, and Venkateshwar College\n and acts as a common hangout spot for all these folks.\n\n
\n\nBig Yellow\n Day:\n\nLocated in\n GTB Nagar, BYD acts as a preferred spot for birthday parties and casual\n hangouts amongst college-going students.
\n\nDiggin: \n\nThis café in\n Chanakyapuri acts a people's favourite café for Italian food. These cafes\n provide a cozy atmosphere for students to relax and socialize.\n
